Brian Yates, a much loved and dearly missed husband, father and grandfather, died on 5th December 2010 aged 62. He was diagnosed with bowel cancer in March 2008 and at this time the prognosis was good. But further investigation revealed that it had spread to his lungs and later to his liver. He unfortunately never had the chance to really enjoy his retirement in the way he had hoped. As part of his treatment he attended Christies on a trial programme and we are truly thankful for the care he receved from the staff there. For this reason we have set up the tribute fund in his name to support such valuable work.
